Student opportunities and activities
Students at Mainsbridge School have access to a wide range of engaging and meaningful opportunities in and beyond the classroom. Through hands-on learning and participation in programs like Life Skills in Action, students practice their curriculum and communication skills in real-life situations. Our school offers activities such as swimming, sensory room experiences, bike riding, and cooking in our café and kitchen—all designed to build independence, confidence, and practical abilities. Each opportunity is carefully tailored to support social development and lifelong learning in a safe, supportive environment.

Events
At Mainsbridge School, we celebrate learning and community through a variety of exciting events throughout the year. Our students actively participate in the Liverpool Arts and Film Festival, showcasing their creativity and talents. We enjoy special days like Genes or Jeans Day and Harmony Day, along with Book Week parades that bring fun and learning together. Families and friends are invited to Open Classrooms, PBL Principal’s Awards assemblies that promote wellbeing and achievement. Our school community also comes together for vibrant events such as gala fetes, trivia nights, The Year 12 Formal, creating memorable experiences that strengthen connections and support our vibrant school spirit.
Newsletters
Mainsbridge School keeps families up-to-date by publishing class newsfeeds twice a week through the Compass App. Instead of a traditional newsletter, we share regular updates about classroom activities, upcoming events, and important information directly to parents and carers on Compass, making communication easy and accessible.
Uniform
School uniforms can be purchased directly from our school office or ordered using the available order form. We are happy to assist families with uniform needs to ensure every student feels comfortable and proud to wear our school colours.
Community involvement
Mainsbridge School values strong connections with families and the wider community. We actively encourage parents and community members to participate through volunteer days, school events, and collaboration with local schools like Warwick Farm Public School.
Travel to school
Most students at Mainsbridge School access the Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP) to help with safe and reliable transport to and from school. The ASTP supports eligible students with transport services tailored to their individual needs.
