Student health

At Mainsbridge school we believe health and safety are prerequisites for nourishing student’s educational abilities. Your child's health and safety is our top priority. We have three fully trained and certified first aid officers. We also have designated staff trained in the administration of prescribed medication. We regularly upskill staff through ongoing training in Asthma, Epilepsy, Anaphylaxis, Suctioning and Diabetes.

Please read the important information about anaphylactic reaction.

Health care plan

A health care plan is developed for each student with health needs. Classrooms are further equipped with health care posters outlining the health conditions and needs of each child. This effort ensures a high level of awareness among staff of student's specific health needs to provide tailored attention and care when required.

We are dedicated to ensuring any health concerns are addressed in a quick and efficient manner while proactively identifying and eliminating possible health hazards to provide a safe learning environment at Mainsbridge school.

Prescribed medication

If your child is being prescribed medication that needs to be taken during the day, please notify us so that arrangements can be made for the medication to be administered.

Please read the medication handover policy and the important information about Administering prescription medication.
